Le palindrome est un terme dont la signification reste intouchée par le sens de la lecture (soit de la droite vers la gauche ou l’inverse).  C’est donc à l’exploration de cette thématique qu’un collectif d’artistes au nombre palindromique de 11 vous convie.

Ce collectif pratique la peinture et l’art numérique afin d’explorer l’aspect caché et fragile de la condition humaine actuelle sous l’angle d’une démarche à la fois intimiste, engagée et onirique du palindrome. Leur démarche artistique s’inscrit, comme le palindrome, dans un cercle parfait où l’alpha et l’oméga d’une œuvre (qu’elle soit la vie-même de l’artiste ou sa démarche artistique) se mêlent l’un à l’autre.

Tel se décrit le chemin sacré qu’emprunte l’artiste.

A palindrome refers to a term, the meaning of which remains unchanged regardless if its read from left to right, or right to left. Thus, this palindromic number of artists (11) invite you to explore this theme with them.

Painting and digital art allow them to explore the hidden and fragile aspects of the current human condition through the intimate, engaged and dream-like spectrum of the palindrome. 

Their artistic endeavour, be it the artist’s life itself or its artistic expression, is much like a palindrome:  both evolving in the same perfect circle where one cannot distinguish its beginning from its end.

This is the sacred path that the artist must take.
